The Taipei Open (also called the Taipei WTA Challenger) is a tournament for female professional tennis players played on indoor hard courts. The event is currently classified as an WTA 125K tournament. It has been held annually in November in Taipei City, Taiwan, from 2008 until 2015. In 2012 the event was upgraded from a $100,000 ITF tournament to a WTA Challenger tournament.

The tournament was first played in 2008 as an ITF $100,000+H Tournament. There was a tournament held in the city of Taoyuan in 2007 that some associate with this event; the $50,000 Taoyuan ITF tournament.

The OEC Group became the event's sponsor in 2008. In the press this event has various titles including the "Taipei WTA Challenger", the "Taipei WTA 125K Series", and the Taiwan Open.
